Some mangoes are eaten. Some are savored. And then there is Cheruku Rasalu, a mango so extraordinarily juicy that generations of mango lovers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have considered it nature's own mango nectar.
The name itself tells its story. In Telugu, "Cheruku" means sugarcane and "Rasalu" means full of juice. True to its name, Cheruku Rasalu is celebrated for its intensely sweet flavor, abundant juice, silky texture, and irresistible aroma. This is the mango that locals traditionally squeeze, press, and drink directly from the fruit before enjoying the remaining pulp.
At Sanesa Yourganic, our Cheruku Rasalu mangoes come from a truly exceptional certified organic orchard in the Godavari region of Telangana, nurtured by a farmer whose commitment to natural farming goes far beyond certification.
Unlike many commercial growers, he left behind a successful career in Information Technology to dedicate himself to regenerative agriculture. His farm houses its own gaushala, not for commercial dairy production but solely to prepare traditional natural farming inputs such as Jeevamrut, Ghan Jeevamrut, Panchagavya, and natural botanical repellents. Remarkably, he does not even use milk from these cows for personal consumption, believing that cows should be cared for and revered without expectation of return.
Adding to the uniqueness of the orchard is a tributary of the mighty Godavari River that flows through the farm itself, effectively dividing the orchard into two parts. This continuous access to mineral-rich river water, combined with fertile alluvial soils and natural farming practices, creates an ecosystem that consistently produces mangoes of exceptional sweetness, aroma, and depth of flavor.
This is the same orchard from which we source several prized varieties including Imam Pasand (Himayat), Banganapalli (Safeda / Benishan), Chinna Rasalu, Pedda Rasalu, Telangana Alphonso, South Indian Dasheri, Langra, Thai Mangoes, and even a native variety of Organic Sona Masuri Rice, reflecting the farmer's deep commitment to preserving traditional varieties and ecological farming.
