Onions are a close relative of garlic and leek and are a good source of Vitamins C and B6, as well as fiber. They also contain quercetin, an antioxidant that has been shown to have a number of health benefits, including reducing the risk of heart disease and cancer. Our organic onions are perfect for adding flavor and nutrition to a variety of dishes. They can be used in salads, soups, stews, stir-fries, and more. As per Ayurveda, onions are a coolant and hence, not recommended for consumption during winters. Thus, we advise consuming leek or spring onions during winters.
