Halman Apricot Balls – GI-Tagged Ladakh Delight
You all are familiar with our world-famous GI-tagged Halman Apricots 🍑 from high-altitude valleys of Ladakh. And you all are familiar with aam papad too. We have crafted an apricot variant of the same aam papad, the traditional way. These apricot delights capture the pure, sun-kissed essence of Himalayan fruit in every bite - without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.
Our Halman Apricot Balls start with handpicked, certified organic apricots grown in the pristine orchards of Ladakh at altitudes above 9,000 ft. Renowned for their unmatched sweetness, rich aroma, and vibrant golden-orange hue, Halman apricots have been cherished by our customers for the last many years.
We prepare them in small batches using a traditional method: the fresh apricot pulp is mixed with rock salt, black salt, and chaat masala and is gently heated to thicken over many hours, then spread on steel trays laced with desi ghee for easy peeling. Once partially dried in the shade, the pulp sheets are cut and rolled into bite-sized balls. The result is our Apricot Balls with enhanced flavor while retaining apricot’s natural tang keeping the taste profile balanced and addictive.
This careful, artisanal approach retains the fruit’s nutrition and authentic taste while giving you a chewy, melt-in-the-mouth texture that’s perfect for guilt-free snacking.
