Swiss Chard

Swiss Chard, while an underdog in popularity when compared to Kale and Spinach, is an amazingly mild, tender and nutrient rich green. Technically a member of beetroot family, it is a 2-in-1 vegetable with leafy greens matching spinach and stalks matching celery. Though slightly bitter when raw, it becomes pleasant when cooked with slight lemon and salt.
