Wheat flour with 100% bran content prepared by coarsely milling Wheat C-306 on our own machine. Coarse flour is considered healthier as it doesn't break nutrient chain and is good for thicker chapatis or for recipes like laddoo or halwa. C-306 has been researched to be the best wheat across the globe for chapati preparation. It is a pre-Green Revolution era wheat variety developed at Punjab AgricuLure University's Hisar Centre (now Haryana AgricuLure University) in 1960s. It is also the parent variety of the class of rainfed wheat varieties develped at that time, now termed Sharbati. Total protein content in C-306 is 10.87% and gluten content out of this is 8.33%.
